More than100 participants are leaders & members of mostly NGOs and government
from Japan and around the world introduced remarkable activities to protect
and revive the forests, also learn from the various types of experts related to
forest.

The summit was discussed and completed the advocacies and action plans. The proposals will be finally presented as one ˇ§Millennium Forests
Goals (MFGs)ˇ¨ with visions of the world forests and civilizations toward the
year of 2015. The visions, activities and management of ˇ§World Forest Action
Networkˇ¨ will keep being continued and developed strongly and effectively in the
long term in Japan and the world.
NVDA is one of supporting organizations of this event and it is one of the
action plans was approved at the WTA Special Meeting by NVDA and Coordinating
Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS) in Indonesia in February
2011
